This is the Umag Open final many will have hoped for once the draw was announced, with world number five Carlos Alcaraz and number 10 Jannik Sinner playing out possibly the best match at Wimbledon earlier this month. 20-year-old Sinner won that day over four thrilling sets, taking their head-to-head record to 1-1 after Alcaraz claimed their first meeting at the Paris Masters late last year. The pair are set to battle it out at the top of the sport for many years to come but whilst Sinner out-played Alcaraz on grass at SW19, defending champion Alcaraz will likely have the edge over the Italian on clay throughout their rivalry.
