ARTHUR RINDERKNECH VS ADAM WALTON PREDICTION
25-year-old Adam Walton set a career-high ATP world ranking of 95th last week after victory at the Taipei Challenger capped off an excellent few months on the circuit. The Aussie has not won a match on clay all season, however, on or off the tour to bring plenty of momentum but very little experience into this tough draw against a home hopeful.
World number 69 Arthur Rinderknech can blow hot and cold but the Frenchman looked in good shape at the Lyon Open last week, beating Dan Evans and Frances Tiafoe before withdrawing to focus on Roland-Garros. Sets should go both ways if Walton hits the clay running but back Rinderknech to enjoy the partisan atmosphere in an outright win.
