ARTHUR CAZAUX VS HOLGER RUNE PREDICTION

Arthur Cazaux benefited from being selected as a lucky loser and the 22-year-old Frenchman made the most of it as he beat Ben Shelton on Wednesday in the second round. The win was fully deserved and Cazaux thrived on Centre Court with the support of the home fans.

He now faces a quick turnaround and meets 13th seed Holger Rune on Thursday afternoon. The Dane has looked good in his opening two matches against Matteo Arnaldi and then Alexander Bublik on Wednesday. He was more than comfortable against Bublik and never looked like losing to the Kazakh player.

We like the look of Rune this week and he has that bit between his teeth. With a favourable draw so far, he has looked the part and now he needs to beat Cazaux and the home crowd.

That will not be easy and much depends on how Rune handles some moments of adversity but we ultimately think he has the edge overall and should get the win.
