ANDREY RUBLEV VS YUNCHAOKETE BU PREDICTION
Fourth seed Andrey Rublev eased into the quarter-finals thanks to his straight-sets win over Alejandro Davidovich Fokina 6-4 7-5. The Russian is playing some really good tennis over the last six weeks on hard courts and he will be fancying his chances of going all the way in Beijing.
He now meets local favourite Yunchaokete Bu who enjoyed a great week last week in Hangzhou when he made it to the semi-finals and is going well once again here. He stunned Lorenzo Musetti in the round of 16 6-2 6-4 to reach the quarters and that will have served to boost his confidence no end.
He now meets Rublev for the first time in his career and this will be a tough assignment for him. Rublev is playing at a really high level and though he is prone to occasional lapse in concentration, he is just playing too well right now for that to creep in and risk an upset. Expect Rublev to get the win.
