THE PREDICTION

World number 44 Ajla Tomljanovic is often underestimated on tour and perhaps especially on grass, on which she proved herself last season with a run to the quarter-finals here. The 29-year-old upset 18th-seed Jil Teichmann on Tuesday in straight sets and she only recently stunned Anett Kontaveit at Roland-Garros and Garbine Muguruza at the Madrid Open last month. World number 262 Catherine Harrison will be a tough force to stop after the qualifier won her Grand Slam debut in straight sets on Tuesday. Ajla Tomljanovic is a significant step-up from Arantxa Rus but Harrison is yet to drop a set from the qualifiers through to the second round for some superb momentum in uncharted waters. Tomljanovic should be able to come through in straight sets here but you could be forgiven for cautiously taking her outright.
