World number 23 Karolina Muchova became the latest player to stun Bianca Andreescu with a convincing straight-sets win over the seventh seed on Wednesday. The 24-year-old came back from a set down to beat Jo Konta in the first round and it does not get any easier now as she faces recent Tokyo 2020 Gold medallist Belinda Bencic in the round of 16. Bencic, also 24, not only claimed Gold in the Women’s Singles in Tokyo but also the Silver alongside Viktorija Golubic in what was almost certainly the best week of the Swiss’ career so far.
