THE LOWDOWN

Carlos Alcaraz Garfia has enjoyed an impressive tournament so far. Alcaraz defeated Brit, and 26th seed, Cameron Norrie in the first round in straight sets before a 3-1 victory over Arthur Rinderknech. The Spaniard is up against the third seed for the event who has not had it all his own way. Stefanos Tsitsipas was up against a ‘story’ rather than just a player in the first round as former US Open winner Andy Murray took Tsitsipas to five sets but the Greek came through it and then defeated Adrian Mannarino in four sets.

THE PREDICTION

Despite coming into the tournament as the third seed, Tsitsipas remains in fairly convincing form after some disappointing results in Toronto and Cincinnati prior to this event. Although the 23 year-old from Athens will remain the favourite for this match, it is expected to be a longer game and the best bet should be overs for games played.
