THE PREDICTION
Bolivia’s Hugo Dellien came through the qualifiers handily in Rome to make the first round of the Italian Open and he has a real shot at a massive upset here against world number 36 Adrian Mannarino. The Frenchman is usually solid as a rock in the opening rounds of tournaments but clay is not his best surface and he has lost at the first hurdle in each of his last three tournaments on this surface. World number 128 Dellien has struggled for form in recent Challenger events, let alone on the ATP tour, but the 27-year-old will be dogged in attempting to kick Mannarino whilst he is down. This match could go any which way but take the Bolivian to win at least a set here.
