THE PREDICTION
Former world number five Kevin Anderson is still an exceptional player when he can last out a tournament but the South African’s fitness is waning and he has pulled out of three of his last six tournaments since last playing at Roland-Garros last October. That makes any match he is involved in a tough one to call and certainly not a tie for an accumulator, though the 35-year-old should still be winning this first meeting with Soonwoo Kwon. 23-year-old Kwon lost a three-set first round match at the Belgrade Open 2 last week to world number 285 Pedja Krstin to suggest the Korean has little form to speak of right now and he could find himself overpowered by Anderson here. However, it is best to hold off from this tie until we see how well the big South African is moving.
