THE PREDICTION
Overall 22-year-old Corentin Moutet has enjoyed a strong season having reached the semi-finals of the Murray River Open in Melbourne and the quarters in Estoril on clay but the Frenchman’s tricky playstyle has plenty of potential for more. Moutet will face a clay-court specialist in Laslo Djere, who reached the final of the Sardegna Open last month but had since struggled for form until last week’s Geneva Open where the Serb made the quarter-finals. This first meeting between the two looks like it could go the distance and a winner is really tough to call. Djere is the more complete clay player but Moutet is one of the best on tour for frustrating an opponent into mistakes and the left-hander tries to make every single ball. Take this match to see over three sets, if that is an option available, or otherwise for Moutet to win at least a set in this match.
