30-year-old Russian wildcard Evgeny Donskoy reached a career-high 65^th in the world rankings back in 2013 but these days is an ever-present on the Challenger circuit, where he has faced his opponent, Egor Gerasimov, four times. This is the first tour-level match between the pair but Gerasimov has had the better of their previous encounters and should do so again today. The Belarusian also reached a career-high 65^th in the world – this year – and has taken a few scalps along the way including David Goffin and Dusan Lajovic. This should be a pretty convincing straight-sets win for Gerasimov.
