Taylor Fritz vs Yunchaokete Bu Prediction

Taylor Fritz opens up his tournament in Delray Beach and the top seed will be keen to go far this week. He was the number one seed in Dallas last week also but came unstuck against eventual winner Denis Shapovalov in the round of 16.

He has however won the last two editions of this tournament so the world number four will be hoping to make it a three-peat this week.

Fritz’s opponent is Yunchaokete Bu who is a 23-year-old Chinese player ranked 69 in the world rankings right now.

He has had a relatively slow start to 2025 but was in sparkling form in the first round as he dominated Rinky Hijikata 6-2 6-0. 

It is unlikely he will have it his own way against Fritz however and it is hard to make a case for him pushing the American close. Fritz will be movivated to do well, will be well rested, and should canter to a straight-sets win.
