Taylor Fritz vs Adam Walton Prediction

Taylor Fritz has been in good form so far in Miami and his two victories against Lorenzo Sonego and Denis Shapovalov will give him plenty of confidence. He was eliminated at Indian Wells by eventual winner Jack Draper but he looks focused in Miami this week and looks capable of going deep into the competition. His win over Shapovalov was strong and he will be expecting to maintain those levels against Adam Walton here.

Walton has come through four matches to reach this stage as he had qualifying last week to contend with. He actually lost in the qualifiers but was handed a lucky loser spot which he has taken full advantage of beating Luciano Darderi and then Coleman Wong last time out.

It is hard to see the 25-year-old overly troubling Fritz here however. This is a serious step up in quality and with Fritz looking focused and on form, we expect a straight-sets win for the third seed here.
