Tallon Griekspoor easily made his way through to the next round with a 6-4 6-2 win over Learner Tien. He was not broken on serve throughout the match and overpowered the young American with strong hitting throughout. He has already made a clay court final this season and has the game to cause problems to anyone left in the tournament.

He faces Yannick Hanfmann who caused an upset in the first-round by beating Jakub Mensik in the first match since the Czech won the Miami Open. The German earned a late break in the third set to win 7-6 4-6 6-3. He’s had a pretty rough set of results this season, with a 2-5 tour level record in 2025 but he will take confidence from this win.

They have only met once before, with Griekspoor defeating the German at Indian Wells last year 6-3 6-3. We think he’s good value for a similar result here.
