Tallon Griekspoor vs Carlos Alcaraz Prediction

The second singles match between the Netherlands and Spain sees Tallon Griekspoor take on Carlos Alcaraz in what should be a highly entertaining encounter.

The pair have met on four previous occasions on the ATP Tour and it is the Spaniard who has won each of those matches. To give a further idea of Alcaraz’s dominance, he has yet to lose a single set to the Dutchman having won all nine sets so far.

Alcaraz has not been in the best of form in the last couple of months as fatigue has clearly impacted him. He will however be desperate to get the win here as will all of the Spanish team in Malaga this week as they try to win the Davis Cup for their teammate Rafa Nadal.

Griekspoor has been competitive this season but it is hard to see him stopping a focused Alcaraz desperate to get the win for Nadal.
