Tallon Griekespoor begun his European clay court season at the recently-concluded Grand Prix Hassan II, an ATP 250 event, with the top seed making the final. Fils is also performing well right now, making the quarter-finals at both Indian Wells and Miami, beating top seed Zverev in the latter event. The French number one is very comfortable on clay, having won two of his three ATP Tour events on the surface.

The head-to-head is 1-1, with Fils winning their first match at the US Open in 2023, while Griekspoor exacted revenge in the second round of the 2024 Australian Open. We’re expecting a close match between two in-form players, but Fils finding a way through.
