Suzan Lamens vs Emma Raducanu prediction

Suzan Lamens had a strong showing at the Open de Rouen, winning four matches including against second seed Linda Noskova before succumbing in the semi-finals to Olga Danilovic in straight sets. That was her best showing at a tournament to date this season and a really fine way to begin her clay court season.

Emma Raducanu has had a month off since her fine performance at the Miami Open. The Briton made the quarter-finals, producing her best tennis of the season so far before losing to eventual finalist Jessica Pegula in three sets. The British number two will hope she can continue that run of form during the next few weeks despite her struggles on clay in the past.

Despite Raducanu being the higher-ranking of the two, she may be rusty having not played in over a month while she’s only ever played 14 matches on clay since joining the tour properly in 2022. We’re backing Lamens to win this in three sets.
