Sudan vs Senegal Prediction
Sudan have overachieved in Group B of CAF’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification campaign as they sit at the top of the group but Senegal do remain firm favourites to win the group, having managed two victories and two draws in their four matches so far.
The Sudanese have achieved their relatively successful start to the campaign with a tight defensive record, conceding just one goal in their four games, of which they have managed three victories and earned themselves a draw. They most recently shared a goalless draw with Oman in a friendly the other week.
They now face a Senegal side that remain under the management of Aliou Cisse with his experienced squad, perhaps stagnating in recent years, but still one of the stronger sides on the continent. They have been steady at the start and remain unbeaten in this qualification campaign before winning their CAF Africa Cup of Nations qualifying group in the autumn, too.
Senegal are beginning to develop their squad and bring through a new generation but a typically solid and difficult to defeat display is to be expected for this one against stiff opposition.
