STRASBOURG PREVIEW: SILKY STRASBOURG
Strasbourg have been entertaining to watch this season as they come into this one on the back of their opening ten matches of this season producing 38 goals. The Alsace-based club begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting tucked inside the top-half of the table but they have endured some frustrating performances and results.
The home team come into this one on the back of a 2-0 defeat to struggling Saint-Etienne in their most recent outing at Stade Geoffrey-Guichard last weekend. They have started the 2024/25 Ligue 1 campaign with three victories, four draws and three defeats under the tutelage of former Hull City boss Liam Rosenior.
MONACO PREVIEW: MONAGASQUE RIDE
Under the management of former Borussia Monchengladbach boss Adi Hutter, Monaco have started the campaign extremely well and remain in the Ligue 1 title race. However, since returning from the October international break when they were at the top-of-the-table, the Monagasque have endured a three-match winless run of form.
They do, though, come into this one on the back of a 1-0 victory over Bologna in the UEFA Champions League in midweek at the Renato Dall’Ara with Germany international and former West Ham United centre-back Thilo Kehrer scoring a late winner to keep them high up the UEFA Champions League league phase table.

STRASBOURG VS MONACO PREDICTION
Strasbourg have been brilliant to watch this season, as shown by the amount of goals that have come in their matches, and they will be expected to once again take the game to Monaco this weekend. Monaco have an abundance of quality in attacking positions so will be looking to exploit any space in behind. Neither side can necessarily be trusted to win games at the moment but both teams scoring remains a good bet.
