Stephen Bunting vs Madars Razma Prediction

Stephen Bunting never really got out of first gear in his opening match but he eased to a 3-1 win over German qualifier Kai Gotthardt. He averaged 92.12 in that match and it was solid enough for The Bullet to go into the short Christmas break with good confidence and belief in his game.

He now meets Latvian Madars Razma who has impressed in his opening two matches which were both 3-1 wins. He overcame Christian Kist in the opening round and then knocked out 25th seed Dirk van Duijvenbode in the second round.

The Latvian, nicknamed ‘Razmatazz’, reached the third round last year before being eliminated by Michael Smith. He has averaged 90.65 and 91.33 in his opening two matches here and if he can repeat that or even improve it, he will be in with a chance of bettering his best-ever performance at the Worlds.

That will be easier said than done against Bunting however and we think the Bullet has more to come. We just favour him to edge this but we expect a competitive match.
