Sporting Lisbon vs Bologna Prediction

Sporting CP’s form has dipped since the departure of Ruben Amorim to Manchester United in November but the poor performances of ‘Os Tres Grandes’ rivals Benfica and Porto means they remain at the top of the Portuguese Primeira Liga table. Their UEFA Champions League form, though, has dipped to the point where this is basically a must win game if they want a top 24 finish. They now face a Bologna side that, despite their elimination already being confirmed, defeated Borussia Dortmund by two goals to one last week and Vincenzo Italiano’s side have now suffered just one defeat in their last 12 matches across all competitions. They will be tough opposition for a team desperate for victory to face and both teams to score would seem a good bet for this one at Estadio Jose Alvalade.

Sporting Lisbon vs Bologna Tip: Both teams to score
