South Sydney Rabbitohs Team News
South Sydney welcome back Latrell Mitchell after a hamstring injury – a huge boost to the Rabbitohs as the presence of the NSW origin star will certainly present a challenge for the inexperienced Roosters pairing of Mark Nawaqanitawase and Robert Toia.
Alex Johnston goes out of the side with a rib injury (2-3 weeks) while Jye Gray keeps his position at fullback.

South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Sydney Roosters Prediction
The South Sydney Rabbitohs have defied expectations this year by winning three of their first four matches. The Roosters on the other hand have followed up an excellent victory over the Penrith Panthers with two disappointing defeats in their past fortnight.
The Roosters have dominated this match of late, winning six straight clashes. You would have to go back to March 2022 to find the last time the Rabbitohs were successful in this age-old match up.
The Roosters forward, despite some inexperience, still provides plenty of go-forward and another closely fought chapter in the “Book of Feuds” promises to be written.
Expect the Rabbitohs under veteran coach Wayne Bennett to be well and truly up for the old Derby; they are as close to full strength as they have been all season while Victor Radley’s absence may prove difficult to replace for the Roosters.
