Slovan Bratislava Preview: Struggling Slovakians

Slovan Bratislava have started the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League league phase with four defeats from four, conceding 15 goals and scoring just two in the process as they sit rock-bottom of the 36-team league table.

The Slovakians were most recently beaten 4-1 in Bratislava by Dinamo Zagreb in this competition a couple of weeks ago but are top-of-the-table domestically as they come into this one on the back of collecting four points from their last two league games.

AC Milan Preview: Resurgent Rossoneri

Stefano Pioli departed AC Milan over the summer and was replaced by former Lille, Roma and Shakhtar Donetsk boss Paulo Fonseca. He has not been overly welcomed by Milan supporters and results have been inconsistent but there has been some famous results to cling on to.

Most notably, the Rossoneri defeated reigning European champions Real Madrid by three goals to one at the Bernabeu a couple of weeks ago to continue an improved run of form, which began with a defeat of Inter in the derby, after their poor start to the campaign.

Slovan Bratislava vs AC Milan Prediction

Slovan Bratislava have found themselves taken apart by sides that were expected to join them down at the bottom end of the 36-team table such as Celtic and Dinamo. They have tried to attack teams but without the requisite quality and potency to do so. AC Milan head to the Slovakian capital looking to build on a turnaround and improvement in form with a comfortable Rossoneri victory to be expected for this one.
