Sedriques Dumas vs Michal Oleksiejczuk Prediction
Sedriques Dumas is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Denis Tiuliulin last August and he will be hoping to build on that and improve on his 3-2 record since joining the UFC. He suffered his first career knockout loss in his fight prior to that against Nursulton Ruziboev but he responded well and got back to winning ways.
He has been paired up with Poland’s Michal Oleksiejczuk who has lost three fights in a row but those losses need some context. He has been fighting against some good-calibre opponents such as Michel Pereira, Kevin Holland and Sharabutdin Magomedov against whom there is no shame in losing to.
He will however be determined to snap this bad run and get back to winning ways himself as he had won five of his previous seven bouts. Three of his last six fights have seen him won fight or performance of the night bonuses and he has earned this spot on such a major card due to his entertaining style.
It will likely be Oleksiejczuk who will be the aggressor in this fight as Dumas may well go a little on the cautious coming off a knockout loss last year and given the Pole’s power.
This may well be a step too far for Dumas and Oleksiejczuk will be seriously motivated here. we like the Pole’s chances of getting back in the win column here and we would not rule out the stoppage.
Prediction: Michal Oleksiejczuk to win by KO/TKO or decision
