Sebastian Korda vs Novak Djokovic Prediction

Novak Djokovic playing his best tennis again is a bad sign for the rest of the Miami Open field, let alone his next opponent Sebastian Korda, who is just starting to find form again in singles competition following early exits at both the Australian Open and Indian Wells. Gael Monfils, who defeated Korda at Indian Wells, this time fell victim to the American in the round of 16, Korda winning an exciting three-set duel.

Djokovic beat Korda in their last head-to-head encounter back in 2023 at the Adelaide Open, but the Serb was made to work hard for it, saving a match point to win 6-7, 7-6, 6-4. That contest also took place on an outdoor hard court and Djokovic will expect the same outcome, although he’ll be hoping for a more straightforward game against Korda this time.

The all-round hard court game of Djokovic is unmatched when on song and whilst he hasn’t been at his brilliant best since the Australian Open, Djokovic’s last showing against Lorenzo Musetti showed clear signs of him returning to a standard which Korda will really struggle to compete with. Expect Djokovic’s quest for a seventh Miami Open title to go on into the semi-finals.

Sebastian Korda vs Novak Djokovic Tip: Novak Djokovic to win
