Sebastian Baez vs Marton Fucsovics prediction

Sebastian Baez has not been at his best in this tournament so far but advanced through to the semi-finals after beating compatriot Francisco Comesana 7-6 2-6 6-1. The two played entertaining tennis in the first two sets, but Baez managed to pull clear and outlast his opponent, who was playing his third consecutive three-set match this week.

He now plays defending champion Marton Fucsovics who continued his recent improvement with a convincing 6-0 6-4 win over Chris O’Connell. The Hungarian made a fast start, racing through the first set without losing a service game and edging ahead comfortably in the second. He only conceded one break point on his serve during the entire match. 

Baez has won their only match against each other, on clay in Lyon two years ago, in straight sets but Fucsovics is now on an eight-match winning streak at the event and will be a very tough test for the number one seed.
