Sebastian Baez vs Gabriel Diallo prediction

Sebastian Baez has already played plenty of clay court tennis this season during the South American swing. He first played a Challenger event in Rosario and despite being the top seed, lost to Hugo Dellien in three sets in the semi-final.

He then participated in his home event but suffered a second-round loss to Thiago Seyboth Wild. Nevertheless, he found much greater success at the Rio Open, defending his title after defeating Alexandre Muller in the final, while also beating compatriots and current competitors in this event Mariano Navone and Camilo Ugo.

He continued this fine run of form with another final appearance just a week later in Chile as he aimed to also defend his title there but lost out in three sets to Laslo Djere. His Sunshine Double appearances were poor, with Baez losing at the first hurdle in both but he is a force to be reckoned with on clay and should fancy his chances of going deep in this tournament.

Gabriel Diallo fought hard to defeat Chun-Hsin Tseng in the first round 7-5 7-5, not losing his serve in the whole match, but Baez should still have more than enough to win comfortably.
