Round 3 saw Wales deliver a much-improved display in Matt Sherratt’s first match in interim charge, but they may be up against it here against a Scotland side looking to exercise some frustrations for a largely self-inflicted defeat to England.

Scotland Form: Bitterly disappointing defeat to England
A wasteful Scotland were left kicking themselves after their 16-15 defeat to England last time out, which all but mathematically ended their hopes of claiming Six Nations glory in 2025.
It was a particularly disappointing defeat at Twickenham as they were the better side for significant periods of that match, but they look destined for another mid-table finish despite possessing some genuine world class talent.

Wales Form: Ireland performance cause for optimism
The dismissal of Warren Gatland appeared to have the desired effect, at least in the short term, as Wales put in their best display for some time despite ultimately losing to defending champions Ireland in Cardiff two weeks ago.
Interim coach Matt Sherratt has kept faith with the same team that competed well with Ireland and he may view this fixture as the best opportunity for the rugby-loving nation to end their long winless run.

Scotland vs Wales Prediction
Despite the fact they have lost their last 15 Test matches, the general mood in the Wales camp as well as amongst the fans has improved significantly given that they went toe-to-toe with Ireland in Matt Sherratt’s first match in interim charge.
Be that as it may, there is still plenty of work to do in order to restore consistent competitiveness, and while Scotland are often an opponent that Wales have had joy against over the years, this may be a little too soon for them to get that much-needed win.
Scotland are an excellent side and only their own undoing cost them against England last time out. Head coach Gregor Towsend will be demanding a response from his players in Edinburgh and they should have too much for their Wooden Spoon-destined opponents.
Scotland vs Wales Tip: Scotland to win with -11.5 handicap
