Scotland Form: Five wins on the bounce
There are few complaints from Scotland fans right now with Gregor Townsend’s men delivering an impressive display at Murrayfield last week as they dominated Fiji in a 57-17 victory.
That follows a successful summer series during which they won all four internationals, albeit against weaker opposition. The Scots disposed of Canada, USA, Chile and Uruguay, and last week’s win over Fiji made it five wins on the bounce since a mixed Six Nations campaign.

South Africa form: Dominant Boks
This is South Africa’s first Autumn Nations Series contest and they come off the back of a dominant Rugby Championship campaign that saw them win five of their six games in what is a highly competitive southern hemisphere tournament.
The back-to-back world champions will now look to impose their will on the British home nations, starting with this contest at Murrayfield before meetings with both England and Wales.

Scotland vs South Africa Prediction
Although Scotland have won their last five Tests, they will be under no illusion that they have not faced a team in that stretch anywhere close to the quality of world champions South Africa.
Make no mistake, this a good Scotland team, but it is difficult to see them containing this incredible Boks forward line. The Murrayfield crowd will undoubtedly lift the hosts where they can, but the visitors should ultimately run out fairly comfortable winners.
