THE PREDICTION
Leinster had to forfeit their Champions Cup clash with Montpellier due to covid-19 in their ranks and then saw their trip to Munster on Boxing Day postponed for the same reasons. They should have the majority of their side back in time to face Ulster on the road but enacting revenge on the only team to beat them this season - in a recent 10-20 result - seems a tough task now. Ulster had their Boxing Day match at home to Connacht postponed too but they are riding an impressive two-match win streak with Champions Cup victories at Clermont Auvergne and at home to Northampton Saints looking like bragging rights. Ulster covered -9 on the road in a stunning victory in late November and with Leinster’s squad in a small amount of disarray taking the hosts to win outright seems a reasonable outcome here.
