THE PREDICTION
Lions lost 37-10 away at Sharks last time out in the United Rugby Championship and they continue to struggle in the Currie Cup for a now three-match losing streak. They have, however, won each of their last four matches at home to British and Irish teams in the URC and travelling Connacht are likely to become the fifth in that run on Saturday. Connacht lost home and away to Leinster in their Champions Cup quarter-final to make it four defeats from their last five matches across all competitions but they will back themselves to pull off an upset here nonetheless. Lions can welcome back some big names in time for visiting URC sides but Connacht are bringing Ireland internationals Mack Hansen and Bundee Aki back into the fold to spice things up. Take the hosts to win outright here for a suitably cautious move considering their most recent form.
