THE PREDICTION

Biarritz came agonisingly close to a famous day at Bordeaux last Sunday but they eventually lost 30-27 to the current Top 14 leaders. They remain joint-bottom of the Top 14 alongside their next opponents, fellow nearly-promoted Perpignan, but the poor form of Brive should see a win for either side usurp them. Neither side has a win on the road in the Top 14 yet and a 33-20 win for Perpignan in the reverse fixture looks a decent benchmark for what may transpire here. Both sides have lost their last three league games but each of their four wins have come at their respective homes so far this season. Therefore, Biarritz to cover a modest -4 seems a reasonable option here.
