THE LOWDOWN

WALES

Wales produced a stunning performance as they stunned Australia by 40 points to six in their last outing to book their spot in the knockout stages of the competition and the Welsh are excellently placed to advance as pool winners.

GEORGIA

Georgia pushed Fiji all the way last week but their efforts to build on their draw with Portugal ultimately fell short. The Georgians were leading 9-0 at half-time but were unable to hold on to their lead and remain winless.

THE PREDICTION

Wales were excellent as they hammered Australia last time out and will compete in the final eight. They will hope to build some momentum ahead of the knockout stages and while Georgia are capable of competing with them in spells, the quality of the Welsh should see them run out straightforward winners.
