THE LOWDOWN

NEW ZEALAND

New Zealand bounced back from their loss to France as they hammered Namibia but tougher games lie in wait. This will undeniably provide more of a test for them than they faced last time out but they should still be far too good for their opponents.

ITALY

Italy were given a huge scare by Uruguay but a superb second half fightback saw them make it two wins from two at the Rugby World Cup. The Italians will need to be at their very best for the full 80 minutes if they are to be competitive in this fixture and cannot afford a start like they produced against Uruguay.

THE PREDICTION

New Zealand ran out, as expected, convincing winners against Namibia and will now take on Italy as they attempt to leapfrog their opponents into second spot in Pool A. It is a daunting challenge for the Italians and while they will hope to post some points of their own, they will struggle to defend the quality of the All Blacks.
