THE PREDICTION
Sale Sharks look capable of sneaking into the play-off places over the course of the Six Nations if their 14-36 performance at reigning Premiership champions Harlequins last Sunday is anything to go by. Bringing on the returning Manu Tuilagi and Faf de Klerk for 30 minutes last weekend is a huge boost at a time where other teams are significantly weakened. They have now won each of their last three matches across all competitions after stunning leaders Leicester Tigers 35-26 two weeks ago and they have a winnable fixture here at home to struggling Worcester Warriors. The visitors were thumped 36-16 at Leicester last Saturday to make it four league defeats in a row and 10 overall this season as they continue to hold Bath off at arm’s length at the foot of the table. This could be quite the hammering away at Sale with the hosts well capable of covering around -20 in victory.
