THE PREDICTION

Northampton Saints bounced back from their loss to Gloucester in the Challenge Cup play-offs with a 31-36 smash and grab at struggling Bath in the Premiership last Saturday. Just one loss from their last seven across all competitions sees them nestled inside the play-offs with three games to play but they face a tough test at home to reigning champions Harlequins, who are nine points above them in third. Quins stunned the leaders Leicester Tigers last Saturday in a 26-20 result that backs up a spirited showing against Montpellier over two legs of their Champions Cup quarter-final. A 14-41 victory at London Irish in their previous Premiership away game looks promising but this match should come down to the finest of margins. The visitors look to be slight favourites here but handing Quins a +1 or even +2 head-start could be the sensible move.
