THE PREDICTION
Newcastle Falcons only just lost at home to struggling Exeter Chiefs last Sunday, with a 14-15 defeat to the former champions a decent benchmark for a winning result this weekend. The Falcons have not won a Premiership match since, oddly, a 14-15 reverse fixture at Exeter way back in November but they should be backed to beat rock-bottom Bath here as the visitors remain without a win on the road this season. Travelling Bath played well in a 20-24 defeat at home to leaders Leicester Tigers last Saturday but they have won just twice in what is proving to be a season to forget in a hurry. This could come perilously close, so backing the hosts for the outright victory seems a reasonable option here.
