THE PREDICTION

Exeter Chiefs dropped out of the Premiership play-off places at Wasps’ expense in the most excruciating way after losing to them 26-27 at home last Saturday. They have lost each of their last three games across all competitions and back-to-back Premiership matches for the second time this season after losing their first two fixtures in September. This looks almost too tight to call now with travelling Gloucester in such good form and eager to make the best of their depleted hosts. Gloucester made it four wins in a row across all competitions after an impressive 24-7 victory at home to London Irish last Friday and a 24-25 shock win at Saracens this time last month is proof of what they could achieve here. Leave this one out of an accumulator, with the other five Premiership matches looking more suitable to a group situation, but handing Gloucester a +2 head-start here could be fruitful.
