THE PREDICTION

Bath lost their seventh game from seven Premiership matches with a 40-23 loss to Leicester Tigers at the starts of the month and that woeful form continued with international stars away in the Cup with a humiliating 71-10 thrashing off their rivals Gloucester. They face another West Country rival here in travelling Exeter Chiefs, whose understrength outfit also lost to Gloucester in the break from the league campaign to make it three-straight defeats after a stunning 14-15 loss at home to Newcastle Falcons three weeks ago. They will be eager to go hard in this winnable fixture with a home test against Saracens the next on the agenda and it is hard to see Bath challenging for extended periods of this current mis-match. Tale the visitors to cover -10 in victory.
