THE PREDICTION

Bristol Bears’ lead at the top of the Premiership table was cut to just three after a 22-12 loss away at Sale Sharks last Friday and this is a really tough fixture away at Leicester Tigers. The hosts have been in outstanding form at home, especially in the second half of the season, and they responded well from their Challenge Cup heartbreak by edging Worcester 17-18 last time out. This looks a tighter result than many might expect but desperation for a bounce-back performance should see Bristol just about get over the line here. They could cover something like -5 on the road in this penultimate regular season game but the safest option would be to opt for an outright away victory here and leave a possibly nervous result up to chance.
