THE PREDICTION
In their first match since winning the Six Nations, Wales thrashed Canada 68-12 last Saturday in Cardiff but the occasion was marred by a horrific injury to Leigh Halfpenny in the first minute of his 100th international cap. The 32-year-old left the field in tears and will require surgery now with an unknown return date at this early stage. On the pitch, the hosts were excellent against a second-tier side and debutants like Ben Carter thoroughly impressed head coach Wayne Pivac. This will be an altogether tougher challenger against visiting Argentina who will be eager to shock a depleted Wales side at the Millennium Stadium in at least one of this two-test series. The Pumas beat Romania 17-24 on Saturday and famously came close to winning the Rugby Championship back in December where they beat the All Blacks and held Australia to two draws. This will be closer than many might think and Wales would do well to cover -3 in victory here.
