THE PREDICTION
The British & Irish Lions tour continues apace despite growing concerns that covid-19 may eventually postpone or even write it off after six cases sprung up in the South Africa camp. The Lions will face South Africa’s second side South Africa A here with hopes of no more cases as they set up shop in Cape Town, the location now for all three Tests against South Africa later this month. Conor Murray is set to captain Warren Gatland’s side for the first time since being named Alun Wyn Jones’ replacement and Gatland has rung the changes as he continues to test all his available combinations. Only Dan Biggar, Anthony Watson and the vastly impressive Chris Harris will start this match from the XV that beat the Sharks 71-31 last time out but Gatland’s side will aim to be just as explosive from the outset. Take the Lions to cover a cautious -5 here as they acclimatise to the lower altitude against their toughest warm-up opposition yet.
