THE PREDICTION
New Zealand will compete in their first game of 2021 as they take on
Tonga and they will hope to put on a show in front of their fans in
Auckland. The All Blacks last played in November 2020 when they nilled
Argentina in an impressive 0-38 success and with such a long period
between games, there will be a real eagerness to perform. It is even
longer since Tonga’s last outing having not played since a success over
the USA in their World Cup campaign at the back end of 2019 and their
chances of winning this are next to zero. They have been handed an
enormous 75-point start on the handicap but even that might not be
enough with the All Blacks set to run rampant in this one.
