THE PREDICTION
Leicester Tigers came out on top of a thrilling 48-32 Challenge Cup match at home to Connacht last Saturday to continue their excellent form at Welford Road and they have been awarded another home tie here. The Tigers have won their last five home matches over all competitions now, including their last Premiership match against Newcastle Falcons 26-12, whom they meet this weekend in the quarter-finals. The Falcons put out the Pro14’s Ospreys in dramatic circumstances on Saturday, coming back from 14 points down away from home to win their first match in five games and that should see them more competitive in this almost immediate rematch. However, Leicester’s exploits in recent weeks have been incredibly impressive as they welcomed back their international stars with gusto. They covered -14 in their recent home match against the Falcons but take this to fall their way in closer circumstances by covering -7.
