THE PREDICTION
La Rochelle lost a close 25-20 result away at Stade Francais last Sunday but they will be confident of bouncing back at home to Glasgow Warriors here in their opening Champions Cup encounter. The French giants finished runner-up to Toulouse last season both in Europe and domestically in the Top 14 but they have some ways to go if they are to challenge for either this time around. A home tie against almost any side is likely to go their way and taking them to win a match that sees under 40 points is often a good move with the hosts owning a superb defensive record. Travelling Glasgow have one away win this season at Zebre but this could be a spot of hubris.
