THE PREDICTION

Scarlets welcomed back some of their international stars with aplomb as they upset Premiership side Bath 19-23 away from home to back up some decent form in the Pro14. The Welsh side had been so close to back-to-back away wins when they lost 26-24 to giants Ulster last month and have also beaten Connacht on the road in recent weeks. Whether or not they are establishing themselves as specialists on their travels remains to be seen but they face a tough test when last season’s Challenge Cup runners-up Toulon visit. The French side comfortably put away a struggling Sale outfit last week and will be eager to put away some intermittent Top 14 form with a second win here. It could well be a very close encounter but given Scarlets’ better form is on the road Toulon should just edge this one.
