THE PREDICTION
Lyon came into the European Champion Cup on a seven-match unbeaten streak in the French Top 14 and continued that masterful form into the Champions Cup with a 55-10 thrashing of Premiership side Gloucester on Sunday. That excellent display saw them top Pool B on points difference ahead of Exeter Chiefs as one of just seven teams to have achieved a perfect 5 points from their opening round. They take the long trip North to Exeter’s round one victims, Glasgow Warriors, who were shut-out by the Premiership leaders for 42 points. Glasgow have pulled the short straw here with back-to-back bullies in the Champions Cup but, while they can score some points at home to Lyon, they should still suffer a pretty hefty defeat. Lyon could cover -10 here but if that seems risky, the French side to win a match that goes over 40 points also looks on.
