THE PREDICTION
Romania were the worthy winners of a meeting with Uruguay last weekend, usurping them into 16th place in the Rugby Union World Rankings with a 29-14 on neutral turf in Italy. They came fourth in the Rugby Europe Championship earlier this season with valuable wins at home to Spain and away at Portugal but defeats to Russia and Georgia is a decent bedrock to their current level in the international pecking order. They should have more than enough to oust a Netherlands side who have lost each of their last three heavily to Georgia, Russia and Portugal. The Netherlands’ most recent defeat came by a margin of -27 at home to Russia last weekend so taking Romanian to cover -20 seems a reasonable target for the hosts here.
