THE PREDICTION
Australian rugby union is not in a happy place right now after three-straight defeats to fierce rivals New Zealand, one of which came outside the Rugby Championship as part of the three-test Bledisloe Cup which is once again safely in the All Blacks’ hands. South Africa got their first Rugby Championship campaign in two years underway with a comfortable double over Argentina in August and they will be confident of doing the same to their hosts here. The Springboks have won the last two meetings between the sides and this version of Australia is unlikely to cause a major upset to that streak. South Africa have been pretty conservative in recent matches but they should be able to cover -7 in victory here.
