THE PREDICTION

The race for the top six is hotting up and both the Huddersfield Giants and Salford Red Devils know there is little margin for error now if they are to challenge. The Giants have been in excellent form in recent times and were riding a four-match winning streak before losing to Saints last time out so they will look to get back on a run now. They welcome a Salford side who are in abysmal form having not won a game in the last ten weeks and have lost seven on the spin. They showed significant improvement last time out against St Helens losing by just three points in a valiant display and they will take positives from that. They really need to snap this form and get back to winning ways quickly if they are to remain in play-off contention but it is hard to have much faith in them at present. They are marginally preferred to edge this game without any real confidence, but consider them on the handicap.
